We invite you and yours to enjoy a three or four day weekend getaway, a week or longer in our cozy 5 bedroom Chalet 90 minutes north of Toronto, just steps from beautiful, clean, sandy Georgian Bay.
Walk along the 6km long , semi-private beach, swim, golf, fish, and relax in a peaceful setting, surrounded by whispering pine trees, in your own comfortably furnished 2 story home with two fire places, 2 full and one half bathrooms, a large balcony with BBQ, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge and dishwasher.
The Chalet is ten minutes from the action of Wasaga Beach, Go-Karting, Batting Cages, Mini Golf, Paintball, a Marina, a Drive-In Movie Theatre, and two 18-hole Golf Courses. There is also a Walmart in Wasaga Beach and LCBO, Beer Store, German Bakery and IGA nearby in the quaint town of Elmvale. Come and unwind, breath fresh air and sit on the beach watching the sunset
and the stars shine.
Georgian Bay Chalet Details
Three Bedrooms have a Queen Size Bed (one with ensuite)
One Bedroom has Two Twin Beds (great for kids)
One Bedroom has a Single Twin Bed and a Child's Roll Away Cot
There is also a double-size pull out couch and a futon.
The Chalet comfortably sleeps 10 although it can accommodate larger groups.
No cats are allowed although dogs may visit. Strict Poop and Scoop policies are in effect on the property, in the neighbourhood and on the beach.
Amenities
The well equipped Kitchen has all you need to look after your hungry gang.
From the cozy big maple table you can look out the living room floor to ceiling windows to the large balcony with a picnic table and propane BBQ, and the view beyond. Our Georgian Bay Chalet has a fireplace, cozy sitting area, two large bedrooms, a full bathroom and laundry room on the first foor-perfect for the early to bed members of your group. The second floor has 3 bedrooms including the master bedroom with 2 piece ensuite, another full bathroom, living room and kitchen and walkout to the balcony. There is a TV, DVD player and VCR with a library of movies available.
The laundry room has a washer, dryer, chest freezer and beer fridge. We are on municipally chlorinated "safe to drink from the tap" water. The water in Georgian Bay is tested weekly for swimmers. The wildlife in the area is similar to what you find near the city- racoons, chipmunks, squirrels plus the occasional deer, wild turkey or skunk. There are no bears.
The Chalet has 2 fireplaces, dart board, board games, a library plus a bocce court, basketball and badminton/volleyball nets and plenty of room on the front lawn to play a friendly game of soccer.
Each bed has pillows, bedspreads and extra blankets. Each room has it's own temperature control. Linens are provided for our Bed and Breakfast guests or upon request at a nominal charge. 2 dozen towels, bathroom soaps, coffee filters, paper towels, garbage bags, dish and dishwasher detergents, kitchen towels,
j-clothes, propane and all barbeque implements are provided.
